According to Drik Panchang, Yogini Ekadashi Starting on July 10 at 08:16 am. It will end on July 11 at 5:22 am. Sunrise will be at 5:31 am on July 11, hence, there is a possibility of observing Ekadashi fast on July 10 only. Any devotee who is observing Ekadashi fast will be able to worship after 8:16 am.
Result of Yogini Ekadashi
It is told in Drik Panchang that by fasting on Yogini Ekadashi, all sins are erased. One gets prosperity and happiness in life. By observing this fast one gets a place in heaven. It has been said about this fast that Yogini Ekadashi is famous in all three worlds. It is believed that observing this fast is equivalent to feeding 88 thousand Brahmins. This Ekadashi comes after Nirjala Ekadashi and before Devshayani Ekadashi.
What mistakes should not be made on the day of breaking Ekadashi fast?
- Do not observe Ekadashi before sunrise on 11th July. Parana can be done after 5.31 am.
- Parana of Ekadashi fast should not be done after the end of Dwadashi Tithi, in such a situation it is necessary to do Parana before its end.
- Not performing Parana within Dwadashi tithi is equivalent to committing a sin.
- Ekadashi fast should not be broken even without Tulsi. It is said that if people observing fast after worshiping Lord Vishnu, take Tulsi leaf then it is the best.
- After fasting on Ekadashi, avoid eating too much food while doing Parana. During this time, fruits or things like milk, juice can be taken.
- Consuming rice is prohibited during Ekadashi fast. At the same time, rice should not be consumed even on the day of Dwadashi. Those observing the fast can donate rice, but cannot consume it themselves.
