A case has come to light from Tumkuru, Karnataka, which hardly anyone can believe at first. Here a small rat became a ‘thief’ of diamonds and gold jewelery worth lakhs of rupees. This unique incident not only surprised the employees of the jewelery showroom, but also became a big topic of discussion among the people on social media.
It is being told that suddenly some very expensive jewelery started disappearing from a jewelery store in Tumkuru. The total value of these jewelery is said to be around Rs 10 lakh. The most surprising thing was that no signs of theft or forced entry were found anywhere in the shop. The doors and locks were completely safe, so initially no one understood where such expensive jewelery had gone.
How did the thief in the goldsmith’s shop meet?
When the employees started investigating the entire matter, they saw the recordings of the CCTV cameras installed in the shop. Everyone’s eyes remained wide open as soon as they saw the footage. It was clearly visible in the video that a small rat was slowly dragging the jewelery by holding it with its mouth. He would pick up one jewel at a time and then disappear somewhere. The employees, who were suspicious of a human being, might never have imagined that the real “thief” would turn out to be a rat.
After carefully observing the movements of the rat in CCTV, the employees chased it. After keeping an eye on his movement for a long time, they found his bill. After this the employees decided to dig around the bill. Everyone was hoping that some clue might be found, but what was found surprised everyone.
One by one, all the missing jewels were recovered from inside the bill. A total of 10 diamond studded gold rings and three precious necklaces were found there. That is, whatever jewelery the rat had taken away from the shop, it had kept it in its hole. It was a matter of relief that all the jewelery was found in safe condition and there was no major loss.
