Suddenly the number of complaints on the outage tracking website Downdetector increased rapidly. Till around 7:35 pm, more than 1758 complaints were registered on the website. Earlier the number of complaints was only around 2, which clearly shows that the problem had come suddenly.
Users reported that they faced problems on both the X app and website. Some people were not able to login to their accounts, while the feed and timeline of some users were not getting updated. Apart from this, problems were also encountered in server connection, publishing posts and accessing the website.
Complaints suddenly increased
The interesting thing was that the number of complaints increased rapidly within a few minutes. While 336 complaints were registered till 7:32 pm, after just three minutes this number increased to 1758. This indicated that there was a sudden and widespread technical glitch on the platform. However, it is a matter of relief that this problem did not last long. After some time, X’s services became normal and users started using the platform again. Many people later reported that their feed, login and posting related problems have been fixed.

Downdetector also clarified that its report is based on complaints sent by users and other sources. Therefore, the number of complaints does not indicate the total number of people affected, but only indicates the scale of the problem. No official statement was issued by X regarding this technical glitch. At present the service is working normally, but due to the outage, many users around the world had to face problems for some time.
