According to a new survey, 60 percent of HR professionals believe that AI has now become an important part of almost every HR task. The use of AI is increasing in everything from recruitment to onboarding, employee services and workforce planning. This has not only increased the speed of work, but is also helping companies reduce costs and increase productivity.

This survey was conducted between May 7 and May 31 among 1,811 HR professionals from various industries. The report found that more than 60 percent of professionals believe that the use of AI is increasing rapidly in all major HR functions. At the same time, 15 percent people said that the importance of AI in areas like recruitment, onboarding, daily HR operations and staffing has increased much more than before.
Main means of increasing efficiency and productivity
According to the survey, 60 percent of professionals cited improvement in efficiency and productivity as the biggest reason for adopting AI. He believes that with the help of AI, many processes have become faster and more accurate than before. Apart from this, 20 percent of the participants say that companies are using AI to reduce costs and improve workforce management. This is helping organizations make better use of resources and understand the needs of employees.
Major change in recruitment and onboarding process
The report also revealed that AI is making recruitment and onboarding processes easier and faster. 42 percent of professionals said that AI has significantly improved the speed and efficiency of HR processes. At the same time, 29 percent people have felt positive changes to some extent. Through automation, processes like screening of candidates, verification of documents and employee assistance are being completed in less time. This is giving HR teams the opportunity to focus more on strategic tasks.
Impact is also visible on workforce structure
AI is not only making processes faster, but is also impacting the workforce structure of companies. In the survey, 42 percent professionals believed that due to AI, dependence on manual and repetitive tasks is reducing. At the same time, 37 percent people said that AI is helping in better workforce planning and skill-based decision making.
