Will these Muslim countries join Israel after Iran deal? Trump’s plan revealed

May 25, 2026 by Uma Shankar

US President Donald Trump has said that if an agreement is reached to end the war with Iran, he wants many Arab and Muslim countries to make peace agreements with Israel. He said this to the leaders of mediator countries during a phone call on Saturday. Actually, Trump wants relations between Israel and Muslim countries to be normal and these countries should sign the Abraham Accords. This information has been given by American media Axios.

The Abraham Accords are a set of agreements aimed at normalizing relations with Israel. This agreement was made with the mediation of America between Israel and the Gulf countries. The proposal for this agreement was passed on 13 August 2020. UAE became the first Arab country to sign Abraham Accords with Israel. Later Bahrain, Sudan and Morocco also joined it. This agreement is a big diplomatic step to get Israel recognized by Arab countries.

What happened in the phone call?

Leaders of Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Qatar, Pakistan, Turkey, Egypt, Jordan and Bahrain were included in Trump’s phone call yesterday. The main topic of discussion was the ongoing talks with Iran. UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed said that he is with this agreement and will cooperate in future also.

According to American officials, Trump said in the conversation that he would soon talk to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Trump told all the leaders that as soon as the war with Iran ends, the countries which are not yet part of the peace agreement with Israel, should come forward and normalize relations with Israel.

There was silence during Trump’s conversation

This was a bit shocking for some countries during the phone call. Because Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Pakistan do not yet have any formal relations with Israel. According to an American official, there was a brief silence in the conversation at this time, but later Trump jokingly asked if everyone was still on the line.

After this, Trump said that his advisors Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff will discuss further on this issue in the coming time and will maintain contact with the countries. Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social that many countries in the Middle East have supported his efforts and this support will be stronger if they join the Abraham Accords. Trump even said that Iran can also become a part of this agreement in the future, but for this Iran will have to recognize Israel.
