
The accused may have to face difficulties in the Ayodhya Ram temple offering theft case. According to local lawyers, the accused in the Ayodhya Ram Mandir donation case have little hope of getting a lawyer for their defense in Ayodhya. Faizabad Bar Association President Kalika Mishra said on Sunday that the final decision on unanimous refusal to take up his case will be taken in the general body meeting of Faizabad Bar Association, which is expected to be held on Monday.
According to PTI News, the lawyers of Ayodhya had taken a similar decision in 2005, when the accused of terrorist attack on Ram Temple were produced in the Faizabad court.
City lawyers said that Faizabad The lawyers of the Bar Association are angry over the alleged theft of offerings in the temple and have come together to demand strict action against all the eight accused.
Lawyers will not represent the accused
Bar Association Secretary Shailendra Jaiswal said, “Our sentiments have been hurt by the theft of temple offerings. Faizabad lawyers have agreed not to represent the arrested accused. The President of the Bar Association and the General Body of the Bar will take a decision in this matter. After this, further strategy will be prepared.”
Advocate Vivek Kumar Singh said that the police should not have presented such social criminals before the magistrate with heavy security arrangements. He said, “Like West Bengal, he should have been among the public first.”
Police will seek custody remand of the accused
Senior advocate Rajendra Chaudhary said, “Due to the actions of some people, the name of the people of Ayodhya has been tarnished in the whole world. Strict action should be taken against these accused by adopting bulldozer policy.”
Police sources said that on Sunday, the police simultaneously raided the houses of all the eight people arrested in connection with the alleged embezzlement of donations in the Ram temple. Sources said that police teams along with the local magistrate searched the houses of the accused including Lavkush Mishra, Avinash Shukla and Ramashankar Yadav.
This raid took place two days after an Ayodhya court sent all eight accused to judicial custody till June 29. It is expected that the accused will be presented in the court on Monday. Police can ask for his custody remand.
