Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority (MCZMA) has given approval for this work on June 16. Actually, this new house will be built in Chimbai area of Bandra, which is a short distance from Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartment. But information has also been received as to why Salman Khan is building a new house for his family.
Why is Salman building a new house?
Salman Khan has been living in Galaxy Apartment since 1974. Where he lives with his parents. Also, Arbaaz Khan also lives on a separate floor with his family. Even in the year 2024, two bike-riding attackers opened fire outside Galaxy Apartment. During investigation, the attackers were linked to the Bishnoi gang. In whose name is the plot?
According to information received from MCZMA, the new house will be built on the land of Salman Khan’s mother Salma Khan. There was a two-storey house built before 1956 on this plot, which was demolished by the family after purchasing it due to its dilapidated condition.
What will happen in the new house?
Where Salman Khan is building his new house, that new building will have ground floor, stilt parking and 6 floors. It is spread over approximately 1,014 square meters. At the same time, the work of this project is being done by true developers. BMC had issued IOD for this in October 2025. It has been told that no tree will be cut during the work. Instead, new trees will be planted nearby. However, nothing has been said yet from Salman Khan’s side regarding whether he will leave Galaxy Apartment or not.
