4. The US will promise to discuss sanctions relief and the release of frozen Iranian funds as part of the talks. The MoU will also discuss ways to help Iran get goods and humanitarian aid.

6. US officials claimed that there would be no side deals or secret clauses regarding sanctions relief or funds going to Iran. 7. The MoU also mentions promoting “regional peace,” and the Trump administration hopes to discuss Iran’s support for a regional proxy, officials said.
