This discussion is gaining strength because Hafiz’s son Talha Saeed is continuously active in the political circles of Pakistan. In the absence of his father, Talha has held back to back meetings with many people associated with the organization and the government.
In such a situation, it is being said that in the coming times Talha Saeed Lashkar e Taiba Could be the new boss of. Talha had entered Lashkar organization in 2010. Initially Talha was looking after the publicity work.
Talha Saeed will be the new boss of Lashkar?
In the last few days, Talha Saeed has held many political meetings in Pakistan from POK to Lahore – the most special of which was the meeting with former Prime Minister of POK and President of All Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference, Sardar Atiq Ahmed.
Apart from this, recently the political meeting of Hafiz Talha Saeed was like this. Attaullah Tarar (Pakistan Minister of Information and Broadcasting), Ahsan Iqbal (Pakistan Minister of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives), Rana Sanaullah
(Adviser on Political Affairs to the Prime Minister of Pakistan), Malik Muhammad Ahmed Khan (Speaker of the Punjab Assembly) and former Cabinet Minister Sheikh Rashid.
According to the report, Talha met these leaders and discussed the new strategy and leadership of the organization. It is also being said that preparations are underway to hand over the command of the organization to Talha Saeed, while Hafiz Saeed can remain in the role of ideological guide.
Why does Pak government need Lashkar?
Apart from carrying out terrorist activities, Lashkar-e-Taiba also has a strong influence on local elections in Pakistan. The organization is also said to be active regarding the upcoming elections to be held in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir i.e. PoK. According to the intelligence report, an attempt is being made to raise the Kashmir issue again by diverting people’s attention from development and local problems.
According to intelligence reporters, behind all these meetings there is another big conspiracy to strengthen Lashkar. Lashkar is trying to create new launchpads in POK – along with this, arrangements are also being made for terrorist training, for which funds are being collected under the guise of political party PML-N.
Actually, Lashkar is now working on a new strategy to strengthen its hold in Kashmir. According to the report, Lashkar has planned to increase the launchpads of terrorists in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir i.e. POK, so that more infiltration can be done. Indian agencies claim that currently more than 300 terrorists are waiting to infiltrate from different places in Jammu and Kashmir.
It has been said in the report that Lashkar, emboldened by Operation Sindoor, has increased the infiltration efforts of terrorists manifold.
