Trump has said that America can attack Iran on Wednesday night. This statement has come at a time when tensions between Iran, America and Israel are already at their peak. After this warning from Trump, eyes are focused on the situation in the entire Middle East.
US President Donald Trump spoke to journalists during the NATO summit being held in Ankara, the capital of Türkiye. In which he said, ‘We will probably attack Iran strongly tonight.’ He made this comment before meeting Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. However, Trump did not tell why and where the attack would be carried out. Trump’s statement has also created a stir because West Asia has remained unstable for the last few months.
America had attacked
The conflict between Iran and Israel, US military activities and regional tensions have already increased the concern of many countries. Now if America takes direct military action, it may affect the security of the entire region and global politics. Trump alleged that Iran has been adopting an aggressive attitude for the last 47 years. Earlier on Tuesday night, the US Army carried out several major attacks on Iran. According to the US Army, this action was taken in response to attacks on merchant ships in international maritime routes.
‘Time wasted in talks with Iran’
US President Donald Trump said that he feels that the agreement (MoU) with Iran is now over. He also said that America wasted a lot of time in talks with Iran and now it does not want to continue talks further. Targeting Iran, Trump said, ‘I don’t want to negotiate with Iran anymore.’ Earlier on Tuesday night, the US Army carried out several major attacks on Iran. According to the US Army, this action was taken in response to attacks on merchant ships in international maritime routes.
At the same time, Iran’s Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) claimed that it targeted American military bases in Bahrain and Kuwait in response to the American attacks. Iran says that America had attacked air defense systems, coastal surveillance centers and missile and drone launch sites in its southern part.
