At a rally in Tiruchirappalli on Monday Thalapathy Vijay Said that her outfit gives a special message. It should not be considered as something to be worn only by big or powerful people. Vijay had come to thank the people after his victory in the assembly elections held on 23 April.

According to the report of news agency PTI, Vijay asked the people present in the rally whether only powerful and big people have the right to wear coats and suits, shouldn’t all of us wear them? He told that his black blazer and white shirt shows that he will be completely honest and transparent in his work. He will say everything clearly.

Black color in Tamil Nadu politics
Actually, black color in Tamil Nadu politics is associated with ‘Dravidian movement’. This color symbolizes the fight against injustice, self-respect and social justice. Opposition party DMK had accused him of remaining silent on important issues. On this Vijay said that he does not find it necessary to give a long answer to everything. Anyway, he speaks only for a maximum of 20 minutes in all his meetings.
Public welfare-advice on good governance
TVK Chief said that people have advised him to focus only on public welfare and good governance. He assured that he would personally answer the criticisms of his opponents. He also said that the real contest in Tamil Nadu politics is only between TVK and DMK. There is no special space left for other parties before or after the elections.
