Today, for the first time after almost a month, a meeting of the Trust was held on the loot of Ram Dhan, in which Champat Rai And Anil Mishra’s resignation was accepted unanimously. This means that from today both of them are formally out of the trust.
Suspense continues even after resignation
Now the question is whether their names will also be added in the FIR of theft of offerings? Will a case be filed against Champat Rai and Anil Mishra? Answers to these questions will be found later, but the attitude of the Trust seems to be creating some suspense.
From this morning onwards, all eyes of the country were on this meeting to be held in Ayodhya. The meeting started at 3.30 pm amid heavy security arrangements. Overall the focus was on Champat Rai only. It was already decided that his resignation would be at the center of discussion. The same thing happened, but in the message given by the Trust in the press conference, tremendous leniency towards Champat Rai and his defense was clearly visible. He was praised openly. Treasurer Govind Dev Giri Maharaj, who came to hold the press conference after the meeting, praised Champat Rai. He said that Champat Rai is spotless. We acknowledge the services of Champat Rai. He said that the Trust believes that it is not right to blame Champat Rai until the investigation is completed. Now it is from here that questions started being raised on the trust of the trust.

Responsibility given to Krishna Mohan in place of Champat Rai
At present, Krishna Mohan has been given the responsibility of the trust in place of Champat Rai. He is a retired officer of the Indian Forest Service. He served in Maharashtra cadre for a long time and earned recognition as an honest and efficient officer in the administrative field. He comes from Dalit community.

At present, the post of General Secretary, which he has got, is counted among the most important administrative posts in Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. The General Secretary has important responsibilities like running the arrangements of the temple, coordination between various committees, conducting trust meetings, implementing decisions and administrative monitoring.
There will be another meeting of Ram Mandir Trust on 22nd July. The Trust has also proposed the appointment of some special Trust Officers on which a decision will be taken further. After the meeting, Treasurer Govind Dev Giri Maharaj shared all this information with the media.
Questions raised by praise of Champat Rai
But at the same time, the manner in which he praised Champat Rai sent the message that the Trust did not want Champat Rai’s resignation. The Trust also gave account of donated money and jewelery today. The donated items are being claimed as stolen. The Trust says that these are all baseless allegations. Everything is safe. Serious allegations against Champat Rai and Anil Mishra
Many serious allegations have been made against Champat Rai and Anil Mishra. Champat Rai was made the General Secretary of the Trust in 2020. There are serious allegations against Champat Rai like negligence in the offering theft case, negligence in monitoring system and irregularities in the management of Ram temple. It is also being said from the sources that he had given a free hand to the accused Tinnu Yadav arrested in the same case.
Tinnu Yadav was once the driver of Champat Rai, but his status changed after his entry in Ram Temple. Apparently the appointment in the temple was made on the recommendation. Like Champat Rai, similar allegations are being leveled against Anil Mishra also. There are allegations of rigging from appointments to management. Ignoring the theft of offerings in the Ram temple, getting his close ones appointed in the temple, not only this, his close ones also claim to be exempted from security checks.

After the loot of Ram Dhan in Ayodhya, some decisions have now been taken. Some people were removed but the biggest challenge is to maintain the trust of the devotees. The question is that if such a large-scale scam was taking place in the Ram temple, were it being done by only a few people together? If so, then why did the other members of the trust not raise questions? Why was no action taken against him earlier? Doesn’t the Chairman of the Trust have any responsibility? Why did the Treasurer remain silent for so many days? Today, when Champat Rai and Anil Mishra resigned, their pain started spilling over. The question is, why did these people not notice such a huge loot? .Will the trust of the devotees be returned by showing action and applying ointment on one or two faces?
At present, some changes have been implemented in Ram temple with immediate effect, know what those changes are-
- Arrangement of three layer checking system before counting.
- Entry in the register has been made mandatory on arrival and departure.
- Carrying mobile phones in the counting room was banned.
- Dress code applicable for employees involved in the calculation process.
- Counting cash while sitting on the floor instead of the table.
- Apart from this, arrangements for 24-hour surveillance were made.
The preliminary report of the SIT was also discussed in the trust meeting in which improvements in the functioning of the temple and the trust have been recommended. The trustees suggested that we should wait for the final report. The accused have been arrested, two big resignations have also taken place. Therefore, one should wait for the police investigation and the final report of the SIT.
