Who is Krishna Mohan? On whose complaint FIR was registered in Ram temple offering case.

These days, the matter of alleged theft and disturbance of offerings in the Ram temple of Ayodhya has become a topic of discussion across the country. In this case, Uttar Pradesh Police has registered an FIR against 8 people and the scope of investigation is continuously increasing. But amidst this entire controversy, one name is most discussed which is that of Krishna Mohan. After all, who is this Krishna Mohan and what is his role in the Ram temple offering case?

Krishna Mohan is the trustee of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. He was included in the trust in September 2025. He had replaced the late Trust member Kameshwar Chaupal. Krishna Mohan is a resident of Hardoi district of Uttar Pradesh and has been associated with social and religious activities for a long time. He was appointed the new trustee with the consent of everyone in the trust meeting. Krishna Mohan’s name came into discussion in the Ram temple offering case because his important role is being said in the complaint filed by the trust.

Who is Krishna Mohan?

Krishna Mohan obtained MSc degree in Geology from Lucknow University in the year 1970. After which he joined and worked in Maharashtra cadre in Indian Forest Service. During his tenure in Maharashtra, Krishna Mohan worked on many important posts including DFO (Divisional Forest Officer), Conservator of Forest. After retirement in 2012, he returned back to Hardoi. After this he took over various responsibilities of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). He has held positions like city union leader, district union leader and provincial union leader of Awadh province.

Krishna Mohan complained

On the complaint of Ram Janmabhoomi Trust member Krishna Mohan, an FIR has been registered in Ayodhya police station against Anukalp Mishra, Lavkush Mishra, Avinash Shukla, Tinnu Yadav, Manish Yadav and others. On the instructions of the UP government, an FIR has been registered under sections 306, 316(5), 317(4), 317(5), 61 and 3(5) under BNC. This case has been registered in Ramjanmabhoomi Kotwali.

misappropriation of crores

In the recent allegations, it was claimed that there were alleged irregularities in the cash donations and other offerings made by the devotees in the Ram temple. Considering the seriousness of the case, the Uttar Pradesh government had formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT). SIT has submitted its preliminary report to the government. According to reports, sections like theft, criminal breach of trust, cheating and conspiracy have been imposed on him. According to the information, trust officials and employees have embezzled more than Rs 200 crore.
