Suniel Shetty On Don 3 Controversy: After Farhan Akhtar’s complaint, the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) had issued a ‘non-cooperation directive’ against Ranveer Singh for leaving ‘Don 3’. This was a kind of ban. After that no member of this federation could work with Ranveer Singh. However, the Federation lifted the ban imposed on him after a few days. Now Sunil Shetty has supported Ranveer on this matter. He also told the Federation that who are you to ban.
Sunil Shetty said in a conversation with Times Now, “No one can ban any actor. No one can ban art. No one has the right to do so. The Supreme Court will dismiss this case in a moment. Both Farhan and Ranveer are very intelligent. To be honest, I feel that if Farhan and Ranveer sit together then both can do wonders.”
What else did Sunil Shetty say?
Sunil Shetty Expressing his views further, he said, “Who are you to ban? Try to understand that this guy has given a revenue of Rs 3,500 crore to the industry (from the ‘Dhurandhar’ franchise). Why would you want to ban him? If you ban someone whom people want to watch, then what are you actually trying to achieve.”
Abandoned the film before the shooting started
Let us tell you that Farhan Akhtar’s company Excel Entertainment had alleged that Ranveer Singh left ‘Don 3’ just a few days before the shooting started. Farhan had also said that Rs 45 crore was spent on the pre-production of the film. In such a situation, he had also demanded that Ranveer should compensate him for the loss he has suffered.
