Unknown attackers have become a threat to terrorists in Pakistan. From Lashkar founder Aamir Hamza to Hizbul commander Sajjad Ahmed have been killed by bullets of unknown assailants. On Thursday also an unknown assailant Pulwama mastermind Burhan Hamza shot up. So far this year, at least 5 notorious terrorists have become the target of unknown attackers in Pakistan. Earlier in the year 2023, 7 terrorists had died at the hands of unknown attackers.

According to Dawn newspaper, for the first time after the killing of terrorists, an unknown attacker has been caught in Pakistan. The attacker has been identified as a local resident of Rawalpindi. The age of the attacker is around 20 years.

According to Muzaffarabad Police, the said attacker has been arrested. He is being interrogated further. The attacker had recceed Burhan’s house twice before committing the murder.

Stayed in hotel for 3 days, shot secretly

According to the report, the unknown assailant was staying in Muzaffarabad for 3 days to kill Al-Badra commander Burhan Hamza. He had booked his room in a hotel here. Police suspect that someone has given contract for Burhan’s murder. The attacker caught by the police has no previous track record of crime.

Pakistan Army soldiers engaged in the security of Burhan say that the man was being seen around the house for the last 2 days. The man had shot Burhan while he was meeting a guest. Later, when he ran away, the local people caught him. Then he was handed over to the police.

Arjmand Gulzar alias Hamza Burhan was originally a resident of Ratnipora area of ​​Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir. In 2019, Burhan went to Pakistan through valid documents. After that he did not return. Burhan was the head of a madrasa in Muzaffarabad, Pakistan. Under the guise of studies, he was playing an active role in spreading terrorism in Pulwama and South Kashmir, recruiting youth into terrorist organizations and gathering financial support for terrorism.

Pakistan Police had also deployed two soldiers for the security of Hamza Burhan. The Home Ministry of the Government of India had officially declared him a terrorist in the year 2022. Hamza Burhan was also included in the list of most wanted.
