Mahesh Babu Varanasi Shooting Update: Work is going on on South film superstar Mahesh Babu’s film Varanasi. This film will be released in theaters next year i.e. in 2027. Fans are very excited about the film. Recently, Varanasi’s lead villain Prithviraj Sukumaran had shared special details related to the film. Now, during the recent media interaction, the film’s director SS Rajamouli has also talked about the film and told how much work has been done on the film and by when will the shooting of this film be finished. If Rajamouli is to be believed, the shooting of this film can be completed by September-October.
Rajamouli was recently busy shooting for the film Bahubali: The Eternal War. During the interview on this occasion, the director talked about his upcoming film being made in high voltage budget. He said- All I can say at the moment is that we have completed the shooting of most of the film. All the necessary big action sequences have been shot. Now we will do small interconnecting scenes. Hopefully we will finish shooting this film by September or beginning of October.
Prithviraj Sukumaran praised Rajamouli

The film is being produced by KL Narayan of Durga Arts and its music is being composed by Oscar and Golden Award winning music director MM Keeravani. The film is ready for release in theaters on 7 April 2027. According to reports, the film is being made on a larger canvas. In such a situation, it will definitely take 5-6 months to give the final touch to this film.
