During jungle safari, people’s attention often goes to the peaceful and completely natural environment there. The forests are maintained in such a way that the animals feel themselves in their real home. The officers and employees of the forest department take special care to ensure that no artificiality is seen in the trees, roads and surrounding environment. Although in today’s time many modern machines and technologies have started being used for the maintenance of forests, but sometimes the biggest helpers of nature become the animals of the forest themselves. Recently a very interesting example of this came to light, which won people’s hearts.
IFS officer Praveen Kaswan shared a video on social media, in which an elephant is seen clearing a forest path. It can be seen in the video that there were heavy logs and large pieces of trees lying on the road, due to which the road was closed. Generally, big machines like JCB are used for such works, but it is not easy for machines to reach everywhere inside the forest. Especially due to rain or bad roads, heavy vehicles are not able to enter. At such times, elephants become the most reliable companions for the forest department.

While sharing the video, Praveen Kaswan wrote that where even machines cannot work, the elephant king comes forward to help. With their help the closed road was reopened. This scene became very special for the people because along with the strength of the elephant, its intelligence was clearly visible. The elephant was seen removing the sticks with its trunk very easily and within some time the path was cleared.
For forest department employees, elephants are not just an animal but like companions. There are many tasks in the forests in which the help of elephants is taken. Whether it is to reach a difficult area, patrolling or clearing a path, elephants sometimes prove to be more useful than humans. Their ability to smell and understand is also very helpful in forest work.

When the IFS officer saw this scene during the evening field visit, he himself could not remain impressed. He immediately recorded its video and shared it with people. This video quickly went viral on social media and people praised the elephant’s hard work and intelligence.
