Imtiaz Ali And Ranbir Kapoor Movie: Imtiaz Ali is such a Bollywood director whose almost every film is amazing. His films are highly appreciated by critics and audiences everywhere. But when it comes to box office, very few of his films are successful there. A similar film of his had come out 11 years ago, which is still counted among the cult and best films, but that film was a flop at the box office. Ranbir Kapoor was the hero in that film. However, there was no special benefit of Ranbir being in that film.

Here we are talking about ‘Tamasha’ which came in the year 2015, in which Ranbir Kapoor Deepika Padukone and Piyush Mishra were also seen with him. Today i.e. 16th June is the birthday of this film’s director Imtiaz Ali. Imtiaz, who hails from Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, is 55 years old. On the occasion of his birthday, let us know how much ‘Tamasha’ had earned.

Budget and collection of ‘Tamasha’

In ‘Tamasha’, Ranbir played the character of a boy named Ved, who has forgotten his identity due to corporate life and following the same routine every day. He is searching for his lost happiness and himself. Critics also appreciated this film. According to Box Office India, the budget of this film was Rs 87 crore, but in India this film had a net collection of only Rs 68.55 crore.

‘Tamasha’ was tagged as a flop at the box office. Even though the film was a flop at the box office, it is counted among the best films of both Imtiaz and Ranbir.

Ranbir and Imtiaz’s first film together

Imtiaz and Ranbir had worked together for the first time in 2011, four years before ‘Tamasha’. Both of them had brought a film in the name of ‘Rockstar’. It was a semi-hit at the box office. However, like ‘Tamasha’, ‘Rockstar’ is a film of a very high level beyond the assessment of hit-flop. Its songs, Jordan’s character, story, emotions, direction, everything was amazing. Even after 15 years, people like to watch this film.
