A site that monitors developments in WhatsApp has spotted a new warning that appears when users receive a message from an unknown number. This feature will be available for both Android and iOS users.
Warning message for unknown chats
WABetaInfo has given information about this new feature for iOS and Android. WhatsApp users on Android and iOS will now see a warning before opening a chat with a stranger. Apart from this, you will also see in the alert the name of the country where the phone number is registered, apart from this, the alert will also inform you that the number is not in any of the groups in which you are. Along with giving the alert, you will be given two options, first Continue to Chat and second Cancel Chat. The alert contains a message that reads, Scammers may trick you into giving your personal information or passwords or ask you to send money.

Work is going on on many features to improve the experience of users in WhatsApp. Soon you can get a special voice note widget in the app which can be placed on the home screen. Apart from this, view-once text message feature is also being tested for iPhone users.
