What kind of government is this, which is afraid of its students? Mamata upset by lathi charge on CJP supporters

Former Chief Minister of West Bengal and Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee strongly condemned the police lathicharge during the Sansad Chalo campaign of the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP). Mamta Banerjee wrote on social site X, I strongly condemn the police brutality on our youth and students in Delhi today.

He sarcastically said, what kind of government is this that is afraid of its own students? What kind of democracy is there, in which questions are answered with batons and tear gas instead of dialogue?

Mamata Banerjee Said that this country belongs to its students, its farmers, its women, its laborers and every citizen. Disagreement is not a crime. Cruelty is not governance.

On the other hand, supporters of Cockroach Janata Party marched to Parliament demanding the resignation of the Education Minister in the paper leak case of NEET exam. Security forces fired tear gas shells and lathicharged near Shastri Bhawan in Delhi. Because many protesters were trying to reach Jantar Mantar on Monday to join the Cockroach Janata Party’s march to Parliament.

Many passengers got stuck inside nearby metro stations after the station gates were closed as a precautionary measure and entry was banned. There is heavy deployment of police and paramilitary personnel in Central Delhi to prevent any lapse in security. At the same time, the police claimed that 17 policemen were injured during the uproar by the Cockroach Janata Party.

Meanwhile, Union Health Minister JP Nadda met the representatives of CJP on this matter and the representatives submitted a memorandum to the Health Minister and demanded the resignation of the Education Minister. On the other hand, a meeting was held between Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on this issue. This meeting lasted for about four hours.
