Hindustan Times told in its report that the name of this project of Akshay Kumar is ‘Samuk’, in which he is playing the lead role. This film is being directed by Kanishk Verma, while it is being jointly produced by Akshay Kumar, Vipul Amritlal Shah and Ashim Shah. Along with this, after 12 years the pair of Akshay and Vipul will be seen together once again.
Hollywood touch in ‘Samuk’
Hollywood stunt coordinator Luke Tumber is also among the biggest international names associated with Akshay Kumar’s Samuk. Talking about joining the project, Tumber says, “Our goal is to create a film that combines great live-action visuals with a powerful story, and which will appeal to international audiences as well.”
There will be a big monster in front of you
Apart from large-scale action, the makers are also investing heavily in ‘creature design’. Academy Award nominated creature-effects veteran Alec Gillis is handling the task of creating the aliens in the film. Gillis is known for his work in the ‘Alien franchise’ (Alien: Romulus: 2024), ‘Predator franchise’, ‘Smile 2’ (2024) and ‘Tremors’ (1990). Gillis told that ‘Samuk’ will feature a monster which will be based on ‘practical effects’ and which has been specially designed for this film.
