Coming to Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty and Paresh Rawal’s Welcome to the Jungle, the comedy film has once again changed its form. Now the comedy is entertaining in a different way in Welcome 3. Recently, Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Rajpal Yadav’s film Bhoot Bangla could not do any wonders. Horror was included along with comedy. Remember, after 2007’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa directed by Priyadarshan, many horror-comedies of Maddock Films entertained the audience a lot. From the year 2018 till the year 2026, this genre continued to be a success. But when Priyadarshan tried the same spice in 2026, it did not work. Akshay Kumar flopped again. It was clear that the audience wanted a change in this.
Now an attempt has been made to serve a new spice of entertainment to the audience in Welcome to the Jungle directed by Ahmed Khan. There is plenty of comedy here. This comedy has been named ‘No Logic’. Meaning, don’t think too much while watching this. Generally, Bombay masala films are like this. But if we look deeply, the story of Welcome to the Jungle and its detailing leaves no logic. It takes a dig at all the masala films by calling it a ‘no logic movie’. After laughing to some extent, the story of the film becomes emotional and all its characters become brave when they liberate the villagers from the occupation of terrorists.
Akshay Kumar’s good days begin!
This time the spice of war and action has been included very cleverly in the comedy film. Since War is currently selling at the box office, here too there is a dash of action and not horror along with comedy. Along with this, there is black money manipulation, emotional connection of relationships, patriotism, India’s border, terrorist enemies’ conspiracy, my India is great, glamour, dance, laughter, jungle, tears and there are also some cheeky dialogues related to the real life of the stars which make this film a comedy cocktail.
That means no spice has been left in it. It is no surprise that because of this the film Welcome to the Jungle has maintained the pace of collection at the box office. The film has touched the figure of around Rs 100 crore in a single day last day. The budget of the film is around Rs 300 crores, so it is estimated that if this pace continues then the film will recover the cost and will also earn profit. That means after this the good days of Akshay Kumar started.
Akshay and Raveena’s chemistry
The spice of real touch about Akshay Kumar has also been added to the film. Akshay Kumar’s real name is Rajiv Hari Om Bhatia. Even in the film his name is Rajiv, Rajiv Kohli. The one time action hero has been a flop for the last five years. Longing for a hit film. Is helpless to dance in Bhojpuri. Raveena Tandon is also in the film. When both of them meet at one place, Raveena says – I have been waiting for you for twenty years. Akshay and Raveena’s last film together was Police Force: An Inside Story in 2004, now they are seen together in 2026. That is, the chemistry of the hit pair after two decades. This hit pair has given many superhit films.
Apart from this, Akshay Kumar describes himself as the biggest player in front of Jackie Shroff, who became the villain in the film, Action Hero, Khatron Ke Khiladi, Khiladi Ke Khiladi, International Khiladi, etc., which have been the names of his films and were once given the same name. Similarly, after seeing Vindu Dara Singh, a dialogue comes – Do you consider yourself the child of Dara Singh? There are many such dialogues which are sarcastic with real touch.
The war feeling in the comedy of Welcome to the Jungle is also very interesting. In the comedy team of actors like Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Arshad Warsi, Johnny Lever, the border team also becomes an important part of the story. Puneet Issar and Sudesh Berry are in the role of army officers and are busy protecting the border. When Puneet Issar, Firoz Khan and Pankaj Dheer are shown in one shot as Karna, Arjun and Duryodhana, the slogan of Mahabharata is echoed and the audience gets a chance to laugh again. Some such incidents which are well known have been presented with a touch of humour.
Emotions of father-son, mother-daughter too
But in Welcome to the Jungle, the emotional connection of the relationships, the emotionality of the comedy artists and the confidence shown by the making team in the making of this film is also very important. Raveena Tandon’s younger daughter, who had lost her voice, the return of her voice arouses sympathy amidst humour. On the other hand, in the double role of Akshay Kumar, he finds his lost father who is an army officer. This is also an emotional side. Then when everyone together frees Azadganj village from the clutches of terrorists, the film heroes become real life heroes by the time they reach the climax.
In this way, the emotional side of the missionless, no logic characters comes to the fore, while the confidence of the making team is also clearly visible in the song at the end of the film, Paisa Paisa…. Especially keeping Akshay Kumar at the center, it is said in the end – after giving flop after flop, this time the film became a hit during the summer holidays and money is money.
Director-writer handled 34 characters
Another important thing related to the film goes in its favor. Earlier it was feared that in this film with a star cast like Mahabharata, there are so many actors that who will get how much time, what will happen to the story and screen play! But director Ahmed Khan and the writers team Farhad Samji and Neeraj Vora along with the super stars, Yashpal Sharma, Shreyas Talpade, Disha Patani, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandes, Aftab Shivdasani, Tusshar Kapoor, Kiran Kumar, Farida Jalal, Daler Mehndi, Krishna Sudesh, Kiku Sharda, Brijendra Kala, handled thirty-four actors in a very reasonable manner. Is. Every artist has emerged by creating a space for himself. Everyone’s characterization and their detailing is very perfect. The audience doesn’t miss anything. This is the biggest USP of the film.
