Weapons from Rajasthan, mission to Mumbai… Alleged agent of ISI arrested, big revelation of UP ATS

Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) has arrested a person while taking action against a network working for Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI. According to ATS, the arrested accused was in direct contact with the ISI agent present in Pakistan and was preparing to carry out anti-India activities at his behest. Investigation has revealed that the accused used to get Rs 5,000 for giving information. At present ATS is strictly interrogating the accused.

ATS has identified the arrested accused as Shahroz Ahmed (29), resident of Janui village of Ramwapur police station area of ​​Balrampur district. Investigation revealed that he was in contact with ISI agent Jasvir Chaudhary present in Pakistan through social media and encrypted messaging apps. According to the investigating agency, the accused was entrusted with the task of recruiting youth for anti-India activities, collecting sensitive information and carrying out terrorist activities.

Used to spread anti-national propaganda on social media

During interrogation of the accused, it was revealed that he had gone to Sri Ganganagar in Rajasthan, where he was given weapons and explosive material. After this he went to Mumbai, but he did not get any success there. ATS says that the accused also used to do anti-national propaganda on social media and instigated people to download encrypted apps.

5 thousand rupees were paid for every information

The investigation also revealed that he used to get up to ₹5,000 per person for these activities. Digital evidence has also been recovered from the electronic device of the accused. In this case, ATS has registered a formal complaint in Balrampur and arrested the accused.

How did Shahroz become an ISI spy?

Upon investigation, it was found that Shahroz Ahmed had come in contact with ISI agent Jasveer Chaudhary through Facebook, after which he also got involved in anti-national activities by connecting on encrypted messaging apps of various social media like WhatsApp, Messenger and Signal. In this, Jasveer started helping him in every way. After this, the accused started collecting sensitive information related to India and giving it to ISI.
