Tension has increased again after the end of the peace agreement between America and Iran. Both are attacking each other’s targets. Meanwhile, Iran’s very strong Iranian Revolutionary Guard (IRGC), after the attack on the American base in Jordan, in a statement issued to the people of Jordan, accepted the attack and said that we have no enmity with Jordan. The American airbase here was used against us, hence it was attacked.
Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said on Tuesday that they targeted a US air base in Jordan with ballistic missiles. They claim that this base was used to attack Iran. After the attack, the IRGC issued a statement saying, “Early today, in the third phase of the second wave of the ‘Nasr-2’ operation, our fighters, with the slogan ‘Ya Lisarat al-Hussein’, targeted important military targets at an American airport in Jordan and the places where US forces are stationed with ballistic missiles.”
No enmity with Jordan: IRGC
Earlier, Jordan said that it shot down 4 Iranian missiles that had entered its territory. However, there is no information about any casualty or damage in the attack.
In a statement issued to the people of Jordan, the IRGC said that Iran has no enmity with Jordan and asked the people there to demand the removal of the US military airbase. The IRGC further said, “We claim that this same American airbase was used to carry out attacks against us and through this action, American troops were retaliated against their attacks. The statement further claims that on the first day of the attacks with Iran, the US used this same airbase to brutally murder 186 innocent school children and their teachers in Minab city.”
‘Public should demand removal of US bases’
IRGC appealed to the people of Jordan and said that we have no enmity with Jordan. We respect the respected people of Jordan. You understand very well the pain of the Palestinian people and the atrocities faced by them. You are also aware of the killing of approximately 70,000 Palestinians in Gaza, including 20,000 children. Through the statement, the action of America and Israel on this attack has been explained.
The statement also said that if the Jordanian people demand the removal of US military bases from the area, it will help the Palestinian people and contribute to restoring peace and security in the entire region. The statement concluded, “Jordan’s progress and honor is our wish. If you help Allah, Allah will help you and strengthen you.”
