Maharashtra government minister and BJP MLA Nitish Rane often remains in the headlines for his statements. Meanwhile, another statement of his has come out. He has clearly said that he has nothing to do with green voters. He also said that he does not believe in the idea of equality of all religions nor does he follow the Ganga-Jamuna culture. Keep all this with you.
Even though the minister did not take the name, his reference was clearly towards the Muslim community. He said that he is only a Hindu and will first work for the welfare of Hindus and Hindutva. Even after that we will think about some other religion.
‘We are only Hindus, we will work for the benefit of Hindutva first’
Nitish Rane said that in 2014 he had won for the first time by 26 thousand votes. He said that when he contested elections for the third time in 2024 with only Hindutva ideas, he won by 56 thousand votes. He said that he has nothing to do with green voters. And neither do I believe in equality of all religions nor in Ganga-Jamuna culture. He said that we are only Hindus and will first work for the interest of Hindutva and then think about other religions.
‘This is a Hindutva government and was elected only with Hindu votes’
The Minister was addressing Shiva devotees at the grand Shiva Rajyabhishek ceremony organized by Sakal Hindu Samaj, Shahuwadi-Kolhapur at Sri Kshetra Vishalgarh on Saturday (June 27). He once again said that this is a Hindutva government and has been elected only with Hindu votes. He said that followers of Hindu religion have made Devendra Fadnavis the Chief Minister and placed him on the sixth floor of the ministry.
‘Uniform civil law will be implemented in the state’
He said, ‘Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was the true father of Uniform Civil Code. The rules applicable to Hindus should also apply to other religions and this Uniform Civil Code will definitely be implemented in the state.’ He said, ‘Jihadists who commit acts in the name of secularism think that only they understand Shivaji Maharaj. Those who say that Shivaji Maharaj was secular, should watch today’s ceremony. He said, ‘Why did not even a single Muslim come to Vishalgarh for Shivaji’s coronation ceremony today? Why does so much police security have to be provided for a handful of people wearing saffron clothes? This is the difference between our blood and yours. Our father is only Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
‘We will take action by using bulldozers at the right time’
Speaking about the encroachment on Vishalgarh, Rane said, ‘While climbing the fort, I was making a list of the names of the officers present here. Everyone will see what action will be taken on this from Monday. I am not a white collar minister. I know how to organize programs very well. While warning the concerned people, he said, ‘Our Hindutva government will provide the desired liberation to Vishalgarh. We will not give any date, we will take action by using bulldozers at the right time.
The minister said, ‘Whoever comes to Vishalgarh, will come only for the darshan of Waghjai Devi’. He also announced that he himself is taking full responsibility for the renovation of Waghjai Devi temple. Rane said, ‘Wherever the saffron flag flies, Shivaji’s thoughts live on’. He said that he contested the elections as a staunch Hindu and was elected with the support of Hindu voters.
