He also told that for so many years only his wife Gautami Kapoor knew about this incident and she never mentioned it to anyone.

Ram Kapoor told that when he was just 13 years old and was studying in a boarding school, he was sexually abused. Hearing this from Ram Kapoor, all the contestants became very emotional.

He kept the incident that happened in his childhood hidden in his heart and did not share it with anyone. He said that it was not easy to live with this pain, but now he felt that he should talk openly about it. Ram Kapoor said, “I was sexually assaulted in a boarding school. I was in class eight and a class ten student was with me on my bed. We were joking around. He touched me under the blanket. I was numb after seeing this. I could not do anything because there were 30-40 children there and I did not know how to react to this.”

Ram said, “I don’t know, but after some time I told him, ‘I don’t like this.’ Hearing this he stopped and immediately went away.” The actor further said that he was shocked after this incident. But the person who molested Ram apologized to him and tried to make him realize that he was truly sorry.
