Indian team VVS Laxman made his coaching debut in the year 2022 in the T20 series played against Ireland. India had won that 2nd T20 series by 2-0. After that, under the coaching of Laxman, Team India played T20 matches in the Asian Games held in China in 2023. Under the coaching of VVS Laxman, India won the gold medal in the 2023 Asian Games played in T20 format.
Coaches who have been on Zimbabwe tour before
Team India also did the Zimbabwe tour of 2024 under the coaching of VVS Laxman. India had won 4-1 in the 5 T20 series played on that tour.
Laxman was the coach of Team India in ODI also
Laxman’s association with Team India as a coach is not limited to just T20 matches. In fact, he has also coached in ODI series and tournaments. In 2022, Team India also made a clean sweep in the ODI series played against Zimbabwe under the coaching of VVS Laxman. India won the 3 ODI series 3-0.
