Vivo Vivo has confirmed many important features of its upcoming foldable smartphone Vivo X Fold 6 even before its launch. According to the company, this phone will come with 200 megapixel camera, foldable screen with 5000 nits peak brightness and new AI features. Apart from this, the phone will also have a powerful MediaTek processor and upgraded multitasking experience. Vivo X Fold 6 is being considered as the new flagship of the company’s premium foldable portfolio.
Will be equipped with 200MP camera
Vivo’s product manager Han Boxiao has confirmed that Vivo X Fold 6 will get quad rear camera setup. Its primary camera will be 200 megapixels, which will support 1/1.4 inch sensor, f/1.68 aperture and optical image stabilization i.e. OIS. The phone will also have a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera, which will support focal lengths from 23mm to 100mm. Sony LYT-602 sensor has been used in it. The company has also confirmed that the device will come with Zeiss G2 teleconverter lens and Blueprint Image Chip V3+ like Vivo X300 Ultra, which will improve the photography and video recording experience.

Vivo X Fold 6 will have a large 8.02 inch inner foldable screen. According to the company, Samsung M14 luminescent material has been used in it, which can give a peak brightness of up to 5000 nits and in ultra dark mode, this screen can give a minimum brightness of up to 1 nit. The company claims that the phone has also received TÜV Rhineland Global Eye Protection 3.0 certification, due to which using the screen for a long time will have less impact on the eyes. This display is considered to be one of the most advanced screens in the foldable segment.
New processor, AI features and better multitasking
According to Vivo Vice President Huang Tao, Vivo The smartphone will run on Android 16 based OriginOS 6 Fold and the company’s new AI Light Office tool will also be available in it. The device will be provided with a custom 3nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super Edition chipset. The company claims that this processor will give 111 percent better NPU performance compared to the previous model Vivo X Fold 5. The phone will also have 2.5D metal frame and new Blue Hole color option. Considering all these features, Vivo X Fold 6 is being considered as the most powerful foldable smartphone of the company till date.
