During this, the fourth over of the innings was bowled by spinner Shivang Kumar. In this over, Travis Head threw a throw, which came close to Virat Kohli, after which Virat Kohli got angry. Kohli and Head were seen arguing with each other. Even after the over was over, a heated atmosphere was seen between the two players.

The game became even more heated with the dismissal of Venkatesh Iyer in the next over. Amidst the celebration, Head was seen saying something to Kohli while passing by him, to which Virat was also seen giving a strong reply. Earlier, during the first innings of the match, Kohli had celebrated loudly when Head was out.
