This woman, active on Instagram with the name @indiawitkin, told in her post that she was traveling alone in India. Meanwhile, in a small sea town in Kerala, she withdrew money from an ATM, but in her haste she forgot her debit card there. Initially she did not realize this and continued her journey. By the time she realized the card was missing, she had reached a big city about five hours away.
Woman has faith in humanity
According to the woman, on the same day she had visited a DHL office to send a parcel to America. He had a conversation with a person working there and both of them even shared their numbers for the conversation. When he realized that his debit card was lost somewhere, he immediately contacted the same person and asked for help. He requested him to go and see if the card was left with the ATM. At that time, this situation was quite stressful for the woman because she was going to leave India soon and she also had very little time.
She wrote in her post that throughout the next day she kept hoping that the card would be found safely. He also jokingly said that he prayed to almost every Hindu deity in the hope of positive results. Finally, after about 24 hours, he got a good news. It was found that his card was kept safe on top of the ATM machine and no one had damaged it.
However, getting the card was not the complete solution to the problem. The real challenge now was to get it back. The woman told that she had only 36 hours left to leave from India. Moreover, since it was Sunday, courier or other formal arrangements were also not possible. In such a situation, he could not understand how the card would reach him.

From here the story took a new turn. The DHL guy did not limit himself to just giving information. He understood the woman’s problem and decided to help in a personal way. According to the woman, the man reached her along with his two friends in an auto-rickshaw i.e. tuk-tuk and traveled for about six hours. In total the journey took about 6 hours and he did all this on his day off.
The woman became very emotional with this help. It was difficult for him to believe that someone with whom he had met only briefly could make such a huge sacrifice for him. He offered to pay the travel expenses to the fellow, but he flatly refused to accept the money. This story quickly went viral on social media. Thousands of people reacted to this post and praised the guy.
