Raising children is not limited to just explaining or teaching them good things. The real impact is what they see in and around their home. Small children learn more by seeing than by listening. That is why it is often said that parents are the first and greatest teachers of children. Their every small and big habit, way of speaking and behavior gradually gets imprinted in the minds of children. This is the reason that if the environment at home is good and the elders set the right example through their behaviour, then the same qualities automatically start developing in the children too.
If you want your child to become responsible, respect time, learn to respect others and be disciplined, then first of all you have to make these habits a part of your everyday life. The interesting thing is that this is seen not only in humans but also in the animal world. Recently, Uttarakhand Police shared a short but very special video on its social media account.
It is shown in the video that the big monkey is teaching his child how to hold and use a mobile phone. The younger monkey watches his elder with great interest and then tries to imitate him. Meanwhile, a big monkey comes and takes the phone from his hands and gives it to him. This scene may seem simple, but the message hidden behind it is thought-provoking for every parent. This is exactly how children adopt the habits of their elders.
This video of Uttarakhand Police reminds us that our every action affects children. They see us every day, listen to what we say and gradually adopt our habits. Therefore, if we want the next generation to move forward with good values and right values, we will have to bring positive changes in our own behaviour.

Children learn from our behavior, not from our words.
If voiceless creatures can impart good values to their children, then the responsibility of us humans is even bigger.
