A case of theft has come to light from Ludhiana city of Punjab which has shocked people. The video of this incident is becoming increasingly viral on social media and after watching it, people are giving different reactions. Some are expressing surprise at the cleverness of the accused while others are raising questions on the security of the shop. It is being told that a man entered the jewelery shop posing as a customer and within a few minutes ran away with a gold set worth about Rs 7 lakh.
According to media reports, this incident happened in a jewelery shop located in Sarafa Bazar, Ludhiana. The accused had reached the shop with full preparation. He presented himself like a normal customer so that no one would suspect him. After entering the shop, he sat comfortably and expressed his desire to see different designed gold ornaments. His conversation and behavior were so normal that the shop employees did not suspect him at all.
This is how jewelery worth Rs 7 lakh was stolen
Shopkeepers and employees started showing him various types of gold sets. The young man kept looking at each design carefully with great interest. He was also asking questions in between and pretending to examine the jewelery closely while holding it in his hand. For this reason no one present in the shop could guess his real intention. It is being told that during this time the accused took a gold set worth about Rs 7 lakh in his hand.
After a few seconds, as soon as he got the chance, he suddenly walked out of the shop. The entire incident happened so fast that the employees did not even get time to understand. By the time anyone realized that the jewelery set was missing, the young man had gone a long way. The most surprising thing was that the CCTV cameras installed in the shop recorded this entire incident.
