In the video, a girl named Kritika told that she works as ASO in the Central Government and gets a salary of around Rs 90 thousand every month. Although his income is good, his monthly expenditure remains around Rs 25 thousand only. His wise way of saving and spending has now become a topic of discussion on social media.

Kritika told that she had passed SSC CGL exam in the year 2022, after which she got this government job. Despite living in Delhi, he has kept his expenses well balanced. In the video, she told that instead of living alone, she shares a 2BHK flat with a flatmate. This not only reduces the rent but also saves a lot on electricity, water and other household expenses.
He told that his share of fare comes to around Rs 11,500. According to Kritika, this is a very reasonable expenditure in a city like Delhi. He jokingly said that being a government employee, his expenses are limited. Apart from this, she has also hired a maid to cook food, the expenses of which she shares with her roommate. The maid charges Rs 5,000 every month, out of which Kritika’s share is around Rs 2,500.
For everyday food and groceries, she uses online grocery apps like Zepto and BlinkIt. He says that about 4 to 5 thousand rupees are spent on these things every month. However, she rarely likes to eat outside and mostly eats home-cooked food. For this reason their food expenditure does not increase much.
How does she cover all the expenses?
He has also adopted a very cheap and convenient way to travel to and from Delhi. Kritika goes to office daily by scooty, which saves extra expenses on cab or metro. He told that his petrol expenditure is only around Rs 1,500 per month. According to him, traveling by scooter saves both time and money.
Even in matters of entertainment, Kritika spends very wisely. She told that instead of buying subscriptions of different OTT platforms, she shares her account with friends and family. Due to this one does not have to spend much money every month. At the same time, she hardly spends even Rs 2,000 on eating out or ordering food online.
He also mentioned his habits regarding shopping. Kritika told that she makes purchases worth about Rs 3 to 4 thousand a month from websites like Nykaa and Myntra. However, she buys things only as per her need and avoids unnecessary expenditure.
In the video, she also clarified that there are some expenses which do not occur every month, hence she does not include them in her regular budget. For example, he said that last month he had taken a trip and had also bought a comfortable mattress, but this was a one-time expense. Therefore he did not add it to his monthly expenses.
