He remained hanging at a height of 100 feet for about four hours.
According to reports, the roller coaster suddenly stopped during the climb. In such a situation all the students were trapped. Later, firefighters brought them down safely using special rescue equipment. This incident took place on May 28 at the Pleasure Pier in Galveston, Texas. According to ABC7 News, the ride has a steep lift hill approximately 100 feet high and it took nearly four hours for rescue teams to bring the students down safely, leaving them stranded at the top for so many hours.
Firefighters had to use the department’s Tower 1 engine and other equipment to reach the students. Galveston Fire Chief Mike Varela Jr. said the students were very nervous after being in the extreme heat for hours and then having to climb down the stairs. In the video also you can see how the students are hanging upside down in the air and efforts are being made to bring them down. This scene is very surprising.
