How does one earn so much money?
During the conversation, the driver also mentioned his old job. He told that earlier he was a supervisor in a private company in Gurugram, where he got a salary of around Rs 25,000 every month. However, that job was time consuming and the income was limited. Later he decided to drive an auto. Initially this decision was not easy, but today he feels that he took the right step. The driver also told about his daily routine. He starts work in the morning and rides till noon. After this he returns home, eats food, takes bath and rests for about an hour. He leaves again in the auto at around 4 pm and works till around 9 pm. In this way, he works hard the whole day but also takes out time for his family.
The most emotional part of this conversation came when he told about his children. The driver said that he himself could not read or write much. Due to economic conditions and circumstances, he could not get a good education. But he does not want his children’s life to be like that. Therefore, he spends a large part of his earnings on their education. He told that he has three children and they are living and studying in the village.
