Many parts of the campus were completely submerged in water. In such a situation, the students turned the difficulty into fun and created a homegrown ‘boat service’ for themselves. Kasturba Bhawan is the girls hostel of IIT Roorkee. This caption attracted people’s attention even more and within no time the video went viral. It can be clearly seen in the video that a lot of water has accumulated inside the campus. Only water is visible all around. It is becoming difficult to guess where is the road and where is the path. In such a situation, some students took a big wooden plank and started using it as a temporary boat.
Students are seen sitting comfortably on this jugaad boat. Some students are pushing this boat forward in the water with the help of long sticks. The whole scene looks like a scene from a movie, but it is actually a scene from inside the campus. The kind of solution the students found in this difficult situation created by the rain, surprised everyone and also forced them to smile.
In the video, many students are also seen holding umbrellas in their hands. Someone is traveling on a boat and someone is helping to move it forward. There is so much water that it seems almost impossible to walk normally. In such a situation, this home-made arrangement proved to be useful for the students and also became a reason for laughter among them.
