One such meeting between an Uber driver and his passenger in Bengaluru is being discussed a lot on social media these days. This story was shared on X (formerly Twitter) by a user named Siddharth. He told that recently he had booked an Uber cab. When the conversation started with the driver, he gradually started telling openly about his life. Listening to him, Siddhartha realized that the problems that he himself was worried about were very small in comparison to the struggle of this person. The driver is around 32 years old. He told that about 11 years ago he had married the girl of his choice. Today he has three children. All the responsibilities of the family are on his shoulders. Not only this, he also takes care of his mother alone. Fulfilling the household needs, children’s education, daily expenses and mother’s responsibilities, everything is handled by him.
The hard work paid off in the end
During our conversation he told that life has never been easy. He did many types of jobs to run the family. Did different jobs, but could not stay anywhere for long. Eventually he started driving Uber. Now he earns around Rs 1,200 a day by working hard all day. The entire family’s expenses are covered with this income. Although his income is not very high, he still takes special care of the small happiness of his family. He smiled and told that no matter how many difficulties there are, he takes his wife and children to feed biryani at least once every month. According to him, those few hours spent with his family make him forget all the fatigue. Seeing the happiness on the faces of the children, he feels that his hard work has been successful.
The pain behind this smile is also no less. The driver told that there came many times when he felt that everything should be ended now. The constant stress, financial pressure and burden of responsibilities had increased so much that he even thought of committing suicide. However, every time the faces of his children and family came before his eyes. He asked what would happen to his family if he accepted defeat. This thinking saves him from breaking every time. He also said that mental stress is still with him. Many times he feels very suffocated inside, but he does not express his problems to anyone. Every morning he sets out with a smile and takes the passengers to their destination throughout the day. Hardly anyone can guess how many problems are hidden behind the smiling face.

Most people said that often we recognize a person by his profession, but do not know about the struggles in his life.
