The name of this young man is Arham Ishteyak. He wrote along with the video that an average life in Bihar versus an average life in America. Same person, but completely different realities. This video of his quickly went viral and thousands of people gave their opinion on it. Arham told that when he goes to his home in Bihar or talks to the people there, many people are surprised to see his lifestyle. People tell him that he has a new iPhone, a good job, he often travels and his income will also be quite good. To many people, all this seems like a luxury lifestyle.

However, Arham says that all this is not a big deal in America. According to him, such facilities are available for a normal person living here. Which the common man of India considers a special achievement. He said that the things that people consider special achievements in India are a normal life in America. He believes that there are plenty of opportunities for those who work hard to progress and earn more.
After the video went viral, Arham explained his views in more detail in a conversation with Hindustan Times.com. He clearly said that his aim was not to prove any country better or worse. He just wanted to show through his video the difference in the standard of living of common people in both the countries.
Arham said that while living and working in America, he has realized that the common people there get many basic facilities in a relatively more stable and organized manner. Be it public facilities, infrastructure or income stability, a certain level of facilities is available to common citizens.
He also said that while comparing India and America, it is important to understand many big aspects. India’s population is very large and distribution of resources here is also quite challenging. In such a situation, it is not easy for every person to reach the facility for which he is dreaming. Despite this, India is continuously moving forward and developing rapidly in many areas.
Arham believes that India has immense potential. He said that there is no dearth of talent in the country. Indian youth are full of potential, hard work and desire to learn. Many times the gap is visible only because of opportunities, infrastructure and economic inequality. This is not a question of the capability of any country or the capability of its people. People’s reactions on social media were also interesting. Some people supported Arham’s words and said that he has shared his experience honestly.
