While most photographers are clicking thousands of pictures during a match using high-tech digital cameras, a photographer named Miles Myerscough-Harris chose a completely different path and his pictures went viral among the people. In fact, keeping modern technology aside, he used an old film camera of the 1950s and captured the moments of the World Cup in the same style as it was done many decades ago.

Miles is very popular on social media with the name @expiredfilmclub. His unique effort came into limelight when the famous social media platform Pubity shared his work. People were surprised to learn that while today’s digital cameras can take hundreds of photographs in a few minutes, the camera Miles was using could only take 12 to 16 photographs on a roll of film.
The most special thing about the photographs taken by Miles is his look. There are no bright colors in these, nor very clear and sharp pictures like modern cameras. Instead, these photos are black-and-white and show a slight grainy effect. This is what makes them special. Looking at the pictures, one feels as if one is flipping through the pages of an old sports magazine or has gone back several decades in time.
