Delhi Police said that on Monday, more than 118 policemen, including several senior officers, were injured and around 70 protesters were detained after the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) ‘Sansad Chalo’ protest march turned violent in New Delhi area. Releasing these figures and details of the incident, Delhi Police accused the protesters of unruly, aggressive and violent behavior during the protests and attacking security personnel, damaging government vehicles and public property.
