Violation of blockade in Hormuz will not be tolerated… US Secretary of State Rubio said on India’s harshness

After Foreign Minister Jaishankar’s sharp reaction on the death of three Indian sailors in Hormuz, a big statement from US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has come out. Rubio has said that any violation of the US blockade and illegal transportation of Iranian oil through the Strait of Hormuz will not be tolerated. According to an official statement released on Saturday, Rubio said this to Foreign Minister S Jaishankar. Jaishankar, while talking to Rubio on Friday, had lodged a strong protest over the death of Indian citizens in the American attacks on ships near the Oman coast.

US State Department spokesman Tommy Pigott said Secretary Rubio stressed that all commercial vessels should immediately comply with US military orders as they try to maintain peace and security in the Strait of Hormuz.

Illegal transportation of Iranian oil will not be tolerated

Tommy Piggott said in a statement that Rubio stressed that violations of the US blockade and illegal transportation of Iranian oil will not be tolerated. America has imposed a naval blockade in the Strait of Hormuz area since April 13, under which the movement of ships to and from Iranian ports is being stopped. The move is part of US efforts to deprive Tehran of oil trade income.

Attacks on three ships with Indian crew

This week, three ships with Indian crew were attacked off the coast of Oman. Three Indian sailors died in one of these attacks on Wednesday. After this, Jaishankar called Rubio and registered India’s strong protest over the death of Indian citizens in the US military attack on a commercial ship in the Gulf of Oman.

Jason Meeks, officer in charge of the American Embassy, ​​summoned

After speaking to Rubio, Jaishankar said in a post on X that such deadly action against commercial ships cannot be justified in any way. Earlier on Friday, India summoned Jason Meeks, officer-in-charge of the US Embassy, ​​and told him that the deadly and deadly attacks by the US military on commercial ships carrying Indian crew members near the coast of Oman are unacceptable.

Accused of carrying out drone attacks on Indian ships

US President Donald Trump accused Iran of carrying out drone attacks on Indian ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz and termed this alleged action as completely unacceptable. Iran vehemently rejected Trump’s allegations. The Iranian Embassy in India said, the US President’s allegations against Iran regarding an Indian ship in the Strait of Hormuz are completely baseless.
