Famous wrestler Vinesh Phogat’s return from break was not good and she was eliminated after losing in the trials of the Asian Games. After a lot of controversy and court orders, Olympian Vinesh Phogat, who came to take part in the trials being held in Gonda, made a strong start but her journey ended in the semi-finals itself. Vinesh was defeated 6-4 by Asian Games bronze medalist Meenakshi Goyat in the 53 kg category. In this way Vinesh missed out on reaching the finals and the opportunity to stake her claim for the Asian Games slipped away from her hands.
