In today’s era, social media is no longer just a medium of entertainment for the youth, rather it has become a big platform for building their career and identity. Thousands of youth are showing their talent through content creation and are also earning well. There is no harm in this, but when some people start crossing the limits of law and morality in the race to gain popularity and views, then it becomes a matter of concern.
Recently, a video that went viral on social media has created a similar controversy. In the video, a vlogger is seen roaming among the people at the railway station posing as a fake TTE (Travelling Ticket Examiner). Seeing this video, social media users have expressed strong displeasure and have also raised the demand for action against the person concerned. The matter escalated so much that even the railway administration had to intervene.
Earned so much money by becoming a fake TTE
In the viral video, content creator Shivam Gupta himself tells that he wants to know how much money can be earned by becoming a fake TTE. In the beginning of the video, he says that he was scared to do this experiment at the railway station, because the real TTE and railway police were present there. Despite this he continued shooting his video.
Shivam is seen roaming around Patna Junction wearing a TTE like uniform. Because of his uniform, many passengers present there mistook him for a real railway employee. It is shown in the video that some people approached him with questions related to ticket checking, while some passengers believed his words and even gave him money.
According to the vlogger, he took Rs 200 and even Rs 500 from some people. However, the video also showed that many passengers had valid tickets. After this whole day’s activity, Shivam claims that he collected a total of Rs 1200. At the end of the video, he humorously asks the audience a question as to how much money a real TTE would earn in a day.
This is what people found most objectionable. Railway officials have also taken the matter seriously. Information was given by the DRM (Divisional Railway Manager) office of Danapur Division that the viral video is being investigated and necessary action will be taken. Railway administration believes that such activities at sensitive places like stations can also pose a security threat.

This isn’t a prank — it’s impersonation of a public servant and a serious security concern.
