Mumbai Congress marched towards Raj Bhavan in protest against the detention of Congress MP Rahul Gandhi during the protest in Delhi. During this time the police detained many protesters. However, at present no FIR has been registered against anyone in this matter.
In protest against the detention of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and the alleged attack on him during the protest in Delhi, Mumbai Congress on Tuesday marched towards Raj Bhavan and demonstrated against the Central Government. The protesters raised slogans against the government, condemned the alleged incident with Rahul Gandhi and demanded action.
In view of the march, Mumbai Police made tight security arrangements and detained many protesters. At present, no FIR has been registered against any protestor in connection with this demonstration. Police are keeping an eye on the situation.
