UP Police Recruitment Exam: Emphasis on fairness, transparency and security…strict monitoring of all examination centers

The written examination of Uttar Pradesh Police Constable (Constable) Civil Police Direct Recruitment-2025 has started from today. This examination is being conducted on 8, 9 and 10 June 2026 in all 75 districts of the state. Under the recruitment process, 28,86,797 candidates have applied for a total of 32,679 posts. For successful and fair conduct of the examination, 1,183 examination centers have been set up across the state.

The examination is being conducted daily in two shifts. The first shift is being operated from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon while the second shift is being operated from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. A provision has been made to give 5 minutes more to the candidates in addition to the prescribed time to solve the question paper. The examination will be conducted in a total of six shifts in three days.

More than 4.81 lakh candidates in every shift

DG Recruitment Board SB Shiradkar Said that considering the total number of candidates in the recruitment examination, approximately 4,81,416 candidates will appear in each shift. To conduct the examination smoothly, extensive preparations have been made by the administration, police department and district administration. Security arrangements have been strengthened at the examination centers and special arrangements have been made for the identification and admission process of the candidates.

Strict monitoring is being done at the examination centers

To maintain fairness of the examination, strict monitoring will be maintained at all the centres. CCTV surveillance, static magistrates, observers and police forces have been deployed at the centres. Additional security arrangements have been implemented at sensitive centres. Special arrangements have also been made to maintain law and order around the examination centres.
