Self-reliant Women Honor Program was organized in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, in which Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan also participated. During this, he interacted with self-reliant women and saw the products being prepared by them. The minister praised the hard work, talent and self-confidence of women. He said that today the women power of the country is creating its new identity on the strength of skills, innovation and self-reliance.
The Union Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, continuous efforts are being made to make women strong, capable and self-reliant. On this occasion, he specifically mentioned the Lakhpati Didis and said that they are setting a new example in the field of self-employment as well as education, skill development and innovation.
Minister praised women
During the program, the Minister also appreciated those women who are giving new direction to their future through skill development programs like higher education, PhD and double ITI. He described the initiative of making new products by reusing waste materials related to temples as an inspiring example of cleanliness, creativity and self-reliance. Also mentioning the Central Government’s Govardhan Yojana, he said that such initiatives are promoting environmental protection and self-reliance by converting waste into useful resources.

Dharmendra Pradhan made a big announcement
Dharmendra Pradhan announced that new efforts will be made in collaboration with IGNOU to provide more opportunities for education and skills to women. Apart from this, work will also be done to connect prestigious institutions like IIM with this initiative, so that women can get better opportunities and new possibilities.
He said that the role of women power is very important in making Bhopal a clean, beautiful and self-reliant city. Along with this, he also stressed the need to pursue the goals of energy conservation, environmental protection and better lifestyle by promoting the use of PNG (Piped Natural Gas).
‘Developed India will be made with the participation of mother power’
At the end of his address, the Union Minister said that every house of Bhopal should become a witness to the story of self-reliance and success of women power, this is the effort. He expressed confidence that the dream of developed India will be realized only with the active participation of mother power and this power will become the basis of progress and prosperity of the country.
