In Maharashtra, Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) chief Uddhav Thackeray will be on a tour of Yavatmal district on June 27. During this he will communicate with party officials and workers. After the rebellion of MP Sanjay Deshmukh and recent political developments, Uddhav Thackeray will take stock of the situation of the organization and meet the officials.

This visit is considered important amid the intensified political developments in Shiv Sena. For the first time after the rebellion, Thackeray will try to strengthen the organization by directly communicating with the officials and workers in Yavatmal. Actually, the main objective of this visit of Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) chief Uddhav Thackeray is to strengthen the party organization at the local level and to infuse new enthusiasm among the party workers.

There is resentment among the local Shiv Sainiks due to the anti-party stance of Yavatmal MP Sanjay Deshmukh. During the tour, Thackeray will work towards clearing any confusion among the workers and strengthening the party’s presence at the grassroots level. This tour is being considered very important amid the new crisis facing the party and speculations about a group of MPs forming a separate group. Leaders and workers of the Thackeray group have also adopted an aggressive stance against the rebel leaders.

When self-respect is lost, only “living corpses” remain: Raj Thackeray

Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray on Saturday openly supported his cousin Uddhav Thackeray of Shiv Sena (UBT). Raj Thackeray said that instead of party workers, the public should pay more attention to these matters. Referring to an old saying, he said that when self-respect is lost, all that remains are “living corpses”. The MNS chief said that in the race to gain power, political parties are ignoring the big and important issues facing Maharashtra and the country.
