Curran Brothers in Cricket: The brilliance of two brothers was seen on the cricket field on the same day. Both the brothers played a match on 9th July, in which the younger brother scored a stormy century while the elder brother did something on the field without even lifting the bat, which had a strong impact on Team India. However, while the younger brother did wonders in the T20 played against Team India in Bristol, the elder brother wrote the script of his brilliant century in Harare, 8379 kilometers away from there. We are talking about the Curran Brothers of cricket i.e. Sam Curran and Ben Curran.

Ben Curran is 2 years older than his younger brother Sam. Ben Curran plays international cricket for Zimbabwe, while Sam is part of the England team. allrounder Sam Curran Did not bat in the fourth T20 nor took any wicket with the ball, despite this he played his role very well in the team’s victory. Sam Curran gave 24 runs in 4 overs against India in the fourth T20 played in Bristol and did not take any wicket. But the two catches he took before finishing his bowling quota spoiled India’s start and turned the match towards England.

Sam Curran took the first catch of Vaibhav Suryavanshi off the ball of Archer in the third over of the Indian innings, who was out after scoring 15 runs in 10 balls. India got its first blow in the form of Vaibhav Suryavanshi and its second wicket fell in the form of Ishan Kishan at the beginning of the 5th over of the Indian innings. Ishan Kishan was also caught by Sam Curran on the ball of Josh Tong.

Bangladesh lost due to Ben Curran’s century in Harare

In the fourth T20 played in Bristol, Sam Curran was seen overpowering Team India with his agile fielding, while before that in Harare, Bangladesh’s condition looked miserable due to the batting of his elder brother. In the second ODI played on 9 July, Zimbabwe defeated Bangladesh by 13 runs, in which Ben Curran’s unbeaten 111-run innings played a tremendous role. Ben Curran had scored these runs with the help of 9 fours in 135 balls, which was the second century of his ODI career. He was also chosen Player of the Match for this match winning innings against Bangladesh.

The team of brothers Sam and Ben captured the series

Sam Curran’s two catches against India in Bristol and the century scored by Ben Curran in Harare also had the same effect. The team of both the brothers was successful in capturing the series. On the one hand, England took an unassailable 3-0 lead in the 5 T20 match series against India, while on the other hand, in Harare, Zimbabwe took a 2-0 lead in the 3 ODI series against Bangladesh.
