India has strongly condemned the air strikes carried out by Pakistan in Afghanistan. India called it a violation of Afghanistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. The Foreign Ministry said that many civilians, including women and children, were killed in these attacks, which poses a serious threat to regional peace and stability.
On June 28, Pakistan targeted alleged terrorist hideouts inside Afghanistan during a cross-border military operation. This campaign included both air and ground attacks. Many civilians including women and children became casualties in these attacks on Afghanistan.
Responding to these attacks, the Ministry of External Affairs said, “India strongly condemns the air strikes carried out by Pakistan in Afghan territory. Many civilians, including women and children, have died in these attacks. This open aggression by Pakistan is an attack on the sovereignty of Afghanistan and a direct threat to regional peace and stability.”
India reprimanded Pakistan
The Ministry of External Affairs clearly stated, “This reflects Pakistan’s continued irresponsible attitude. This is another futile attempt to resort to cross-border violence to divert attention from its internal failures.” The Ministry of External Affairs said, “India expresses its deepest condolences to the Afghan families who have lost their loved ones and wishes for the speedy recovery of the injured. It reiterates its unwavering support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Afghanistan.”
Last year also Pakistan had attacked Afghanistan
Since last year, Pakistan has carried out several military attacks inside the border with Afghanistan. Pakistan claims that its target was the hideouts of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and other terrorist organizations. Islamabad has consistently accused the Taliban government in Afghanistan of harboring TTP terrorists, who are responsible for deadly attacks inside Pakistan. However, Kabul has denied these allegations.
