US President Donald Trump again said on Monday that Iran should hand over its enriched uranium to America for destruction. In a post on the social media platform ‘Truth Social’, Trump said that the enriched uranium should be “immediately handed over to the United States so that it can be brought back and destroyed or destroyed at another location in collaboration and coordination with Iran.”
The US President wrote, the enriched uranium (nuclear dust!) will either be immediately handed over to the United States for repatriation and destruction, or will be destroyed in collaboration and coordination with Iran, in the presence of the Atomic Energy Commission or its equivalent body, at the same location or at another acceptable location.
US foreign policy debate issue
Trump’s comments come amid rising tensions over Iran’s nuclear program and the ongoing international investigation into Tehran’s uranium enrichment activities. Iran has consistently maintained that its nuclear program is for peaceful purposes, while the US has expressed concern over the level of uranium enrichment and its potential military implications. Trump’s new comments signal a continuation of his tough stance on Iran’s nuclear ambitions, which has been a major issue during his presidency and in US foreign policy debates.

Peace talks with Iran progressing well: Trump
Donald Trump said on Monday that peace talks with Iran to end the war are progressing well. However, US officials said that due to the complex communication network that Iran is using to consult its supreme leader, the final decision may take some time. Trump said in a post on Truth Social that the countries mediating peace talks with Iran should sign the Abraham Accords, which is related to establishing diplomatic, economic and security relations between Israel and Arab countries.
It is an honor for Iran to sign the agreement.
He said that it would be an honor for Iran to sign this agreement. Trump said that after all the efforts made by the US to solve this very complex puzzle, it should be mandatory for all these countries to at least sign the Abraham Accords. However, he said that if one or two countries have some reason for not doing so, then it can be accepted.
Khamenei working from unknown location
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Bahrain, among the mediators of the US-Iran peace talks, have already signed the Abraham Accords. Trump wants Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Pakistan, Turkey, Egypt and Jordan to also sign this agreement. Meanwhile, US officials said that Iran’s supreme leader Mojtaba Khamenei is working from an undisclosed location, which has very limited contact with the outside world. He said Khamenei could only be contacted through a complex network of messengers.
